“My name is Theresa and I am addicted to crafts. My husband says I
need therapy… but I told him to get out of my kitchen! My friends, on the
other hand, encouraged me to start a business…my friends won. Now I’ve “cooked
up” so many cards we can’t even use the dining room.
“My passion for paper
started long ago as a child when I would gather up small scraps and put
them away for future projects (You know, I still do that too!).
“About
12 years ago, my first of three children was born and I turned those scraps
of paper into beautiful birth announcements. I was hooked!
“Since then, it’s been a constant simmer of scrapbooking and stamping. Of all the crafts I do,
card making is my passion. Starting out with a blank sheet of cardstock then
adding layers, stamped images and embellishments… never knowing how it’s going
to turn out… then seeing my finished card… each one brings a sense of satisfaction.
“My love affair with paper continues and I still hoard scraps every chance
I get! The different colors, patterns and textures spark my creativity.
I draw inspiration from many things including my family, friends and travels.
“At the Card Kitchen, we’ve created the perfect
blend of technology, art and a personal touch. Everyone loves to receive
a handmade greeting… It makes them feel special. I hope you'll share our tasty
creations with the special people in your life!”

“I've been a crafter all of my life. I started sewing when I
was 8 or 9. Many years ago, I spent some time stamping and making cards,
but I never fully explored papercrafting. Then two and a half
years ago my sister took me to a workshop and I fell in love. I signed
up to be a demonstrator that week.
“Since then, I've been stamping and card-making
non-stop. I love teaching
others to craft, especially people who don't think they can. I love to
watch my designs and creations evolve into keepsakes.”

“In my first career as an interior designer, I developed a love for playing with colors, texture and patterns. I enjoy layering materials, mixing and matching to make new combinations. I have always enjoy crafting, so it only seemed natural that I would eventually get into stamping and card making.
“About three years ago, I really started exploring crafting with paper. I started scrapbooking and then I branched out into other paper crafts. But I especially enjoy making cards, because each one is destined to be a gift that will make someone happy. I enjoy seeing the pieces of card stock and paper that I use transform into a piece of art.”
